THIS SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES (the
"Rules").
The
Del Taco (the "Company" or "Sponsor"), Del Taco Let’s Talk
Turkey Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is designed to encourage
eligible participants ("Entrant(s)" or "You") to use their
creativity, and related skills to create interesting Pinterest content.
1.
ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open to anyone who is at least eighteen (18)
years old at the time of entry. Previous Grand Prize winners of any ShareRoot,
Inc. Sweepstakes from the previous 6 months are not eligible. Employees,
contractors, officers, directors, and members of Sponsor, and its parent
companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies,
representatives, and agents, and their immediate families (spouse, mother,
father, sister, brother, daughter, or son) and members of the same household
(whether related or not) of such employees, contractors, officers, directors,
and members are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes
eligibility is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

The Sweepstakes is provided in part by ShareRoot, Inc. on the
behalf of Sponsor and does not imply any affiliation with Pinterest or any
other third-party.
3.
BINDING AGREEMENT
You agree that submission of an entry in the Sweepstakes
constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Rules
and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. You may not
submit an entry to the Sweepstakes and are not eligible to receive the prizes
described in these Rules unless You agree to these Rules and fulfill all other
requirements set forth herein.
4.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 at 12 AM
EST and ends on Monday, February 10th, 2014 at 11:59:59 PM EST (the "Sweepstakes
Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Sweepstakes
Period will be disqualified.

HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE

Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Sweepstakes
using the Internet submission form and following the steps provided under
"How to Enter" or equivalent heading (the "Instructions")
found at: http://contests.shareroot.co/del-taco-lets-talk-turkey-sweepstakes/ ("Sweepstakes Site") and also provided below for
clarification. You agree that You are solely responsible for finding and
operating a compatible web browser to submit Your entry.

Pin one (1) of our Suggested Pins from the Suggested Pins button
above OR your favorite Del Taco item. Feel free to pin your own pictures of
your Del Taco experience!

Click the ‘Enter Now’ button on http://contests.shareroot.co/del-taco-lets-talk-turkey-sweepstakes/ to submit
your entry.
5.
Once approved, you will receive an email confirming your entry.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Limit one (1) entry per
person, for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. Entries received in excess
of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of
Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Limit one (1) prize per
person.
6.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You agree that You will not post any text, images, audio, or
video ("Content") in association with Your entry that contains
nudity, excessive violence, or is obscene, offensive or objectionable, or that
You do not own the rights to or permission to use. Furthermore, You agree not
to submit any Content that: (a) infringes any third party proprietary rights,
intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, personal or moral
rights or any other rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark,
trade names, industrial designs, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity or
confidentiality obligations; (b) depicts adults, children or other minors
without their consent; or (c) otherwise violates applicable state, federal, or
local law. The Sponsor reserves the right to determine and disqualify any entry
that does not follow these requirements. Content created or manipulated with
third party software is acceptable.
7.

8.
WINNER SELECTION
After the end of the Sweepstakes Period, potential winners will
be selected in accordance with the Rules and Instructions. This winner will be
randomly selected from the approved entries. At most a total of one (1) entry
will be awarded prizes using the following selection method(s). ShareRoot will
attempt to notify each potential winner via telephone or email within five (5)
business days after the Sweepstakes Period. If the potential winner cannot be
contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact
her/him, ShareRoot may select an alternate potential winner in her/his place
based on.
9.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Potential winners will be notified by email or phone
("Notification"). Each potential winner must respond within five (5)
days to the Notification or attempted notice or forfeit their claim to her/his
prize. If the initial potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond
to Notification within five (5) days, or makes any misrepresentations with
her/his claim, or prize is returned as undeliverable, the initial potential
winner forfeits the prize. If the potential winner is at least eighteen (18) but
is still considered a minor in her/his jurisdiction of residence, ShareRoot
reserves the right to award the prize in the name of her/his parent or legal
guardian, who will be required to correspond with ShareRoot and fulfill any
other requirements imposed upon the winner set forth herein to redeem the
prize. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions
of these Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In
the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, ShareRoot
will award the applicable prize to an alternate potential winner based on same
selection process among all other remaining eligible entries. Up to three (3)
alternate selections will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded.
Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.
10. ELIMINATION
Any false information provided within the context of the Sweepstakes
by Entrant concerning identity, mailing address, telephone number, email address,
ownership of right or non-compliance with these Rules or the Instructions may
result in the immediate elimination of the Entrant from the Sweepstakes.
11. WARRANTY AND INDEMNITY
Entrants warrant that all Content submitted in associated with
the Sweepstakes is owned by Entrant or have explicit consent to use Content and
the right to submit it as part of their entry. Entrants warrant that their
entry and associated Content follow all the provisions in these Rules and the
Instructions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entrant indemnifies and
agrees to keep indemnified Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries,
affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with
the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees,
contractors, representatives, and agents (the "Released Parties") at
all times from and against any liability, claims, demands, losses, damages,
costs and expenses resulting from any act, default or omission of the Entrant
and/or a breach of any warranty set forth herein. To the maximum extent
permitted by law, Entrant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the
Released Parties from and against any and all claims, actions, suits or
proceedings, as well as any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and
expenses (including reasonable attorneys fees) arising out of or accruing from:
the participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize (including
any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any
technical errors associated with the Sweepstakes, including lost, interrupted
or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless
service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or
miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or
cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled scrambled, delayed,
or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions,
failures, or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes;
(c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical
errors; (d) any other errors or problems in connection with the Sweepstakes,
including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of
the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the winner, the cancellation or
postponement of the event and/or the flyover, if applicable, or in any Sweepstakes-related
materials; (e) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or
property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from
Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes of acceptance, receipt of misuse of
the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto); (f) any Content
provided by Entrant that infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret,
trade dress, patent or other intellectual property right of any person or
defames any person or violates their rights of publicity or privacy; (g) any
misrepresentation made by Entrant in connection with the Sweepstakes; or (h)
any non-compliance by Entrant with these Rules or the Instructions. Entrant
waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited
to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
12. CONTENT RELEASE
By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant grants to the
Sponsor, ShareRoot, Inc., and their affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide,
royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce,
distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform Entrant’s
Content. Content may be used in conjunction with this Sweepstakes on but not
limited to the Sweepstakes Site, the Sponsor’s Pinterest pages, and other
promotional material.
13. PRIVACY
Entrants give full consent and private usage rights to all
personal data submitted with an entry, including but not limited to name,
mailing address, phone number, email address, and other required information
that may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used by Sponsor and its
affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the Sweepstakes and
communicating other marketing messages. In the event that the Entrant chooses
not to receive messages from ShareRoot, Inc. and/or the Sponsor, she/he may
unsubscribe. Entrant’s email addresses will under no circumstances be published
or sold to third parties. All personal information that is collected from the
Entrant is subject to ShareRoot, Inc.’s Privacy Policy, located at: http://shareroot.co/privacy-policy/. If an Entrant does not provide the data required at entry,
that Entrant’s entry may be ineligible.
14. RIGHT TO CANCEL, MODIFY OR DISQUALIFY
If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as
planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or
affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of
the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sponsor further reserves the
right to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the submission process or any
other part of the Sweepstakes or Sweepstakes Site. Any attempt by an Entrant to
deliberately damage any web site, including the Sweepstakes Site, or undermine
the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and
civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to
seek damages from any such Entrant to the fullest extent of the applicable law.
Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Rules shall not
constitute a waiver of that provision.
15. TAXES
AWARDS OF PRIZES TO POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO THE EXPRESS
REQUIREMENT THAT THEY SUBMIT TO SPONSOR ALL DOCUMENTATION REQUESTED BY SPONSOR
TO PERMIT IT TO COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE STATE, FEDERAL AND LOCAL TAX
REPORTING ALL PRIZES WILL BE NET OF ANY TAXES SPONSOR IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO
WITHHOLD. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL TAXES IMPOSED ON PRIZES ARE THE
SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS. In order to receive a prize, potential
winners may be required to submit tax documentation requested by Sponsor or
otherwise required by applicable law, to Sponsor or a representative for
Sponsor or the relevant tax authority, all as determined by applicable law. The
potential winner, and if the potential winner is a minor, their parents or
legal guardians, are responsible for ensuring that they comply with all the
applicable tax laws and filing requirements. If a potential winner fails to
provide such documentation or comply with such laws, the prize may be forfeited
and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate potential winner.
16. DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, each Entrant agrees that any and all
disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes
or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form
of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in San
Francisco, California, United States of America. All issues and questions
concerning the concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and
enforceability of these Rules, Entrants rights and obligations, or the rights
and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be
governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of
California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law
rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other
than the State of California’s.
17. GENERAL CONDITIONS
All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor
reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant from the Sweepstakes if, in
Sponsor’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the Entrant has
attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating,
deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or
harasses any other Entrants, Sponsor, or the Judges.
If any provision of these Rules are determined to be wholly or
partially unenforceable, it will be deemed replaced by an enforceable provision
that as nearly as possible reflects the terms of the unenforceable provision or
part thereof.

2014 by sending a self addressed stamped envelope to:
